Mr. Karson Yang joined Jiaquan IP Law in 2016 and works as an IP Counsel in the International Department.

Karson specializes in patent/trademark application and prosecution, based upon the goal of IP protection for both foreign and domestic clients. His practice broadly involves: patent filing, prosecution, reexamination, invalidation and patent infringement; trademark filing, prosecution, review, cancellation, invalidation, trademark infringement and anti-unfair competition, copyright registration and initiating the Customs border protection, domain names application, IP transactions, as well as technique transfer between foreign and domestic enterprises, etc.

Karson has successfully helped quite a few foreign clients in defending their legitimate rights and interests in China, including the following highlights:

Successfully represented a German tanning machine company in preventing other manufacturers and sellers from appropriating its trademarks in Alibaba e-commerce platform;

Successfully represented a Dutch escalator maker in striking down domestic patent infringers and stopping them from selling relevant infringing products;

Successfully represented a Danish coffee processor in litigations at Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court against several patent infringers and received compensation.
